ADVOX 550
ADVOX 550 is a two component epoxy resin based waterproofing & protective coating with excellent resistant to hydrostatic pressure and good bond to damp surfaces. One part consists of epoxy resin and the other part of curing agent. After mixing both the parts, it can be thinned down with water. It possesses all the attributes of normal solvent based epoxy compositions such as excellent water and chemical resistance, adhesion, hardness, toughness and mechanical strength. Being free from solvents, it does not pose any health hazard to the applicator. It is suitable for areas such as potable water tanks where protective surface resistant to corrosion, chemical attack and bacterial growth is necessary. It is also applied to waterproof and protect concrete and masonry substrates.

INSTALLATION
Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be, clean and free of all dirt, oil, grease, concrete sealers etc. to avoid weak bonding. Rough or uneven concrete base should be made smooth and even to provide better finish. Remove the dust by compressed air or paint brush or wiping with water soaked cloth.
Mixing
Mix the PART A and PART B well to a homogenous mix by using heavy/medium duty slow speed mechanical mixer/ stirrer for mixing the two components of the product. In a mixing vessel, slowly add Water component in to the mix under continuous stirring. Continue to stir thoroughly to achieve lump free homogenous slurry.
Application
When ADVOX 550 is to be applied to dry concrete it is advisable to wet the surface with a fine mist of water before application and allow to just surface dry. Spread the material using a squeegee, roller or brush taking care to achieve required coverage. A minimum of one coat for efflorescence and rising damp, two coats for waterproofing is recommended.
Shelf Life
Factory sealed product are good for Eighteen (18) months* if stored off the ground in a dry area under controlled atmosphere (in hot temperature store at place less than 30 C).
*High humidity will reduce the shelf life of packed product.
