KERB ADHESIVE ACT KA 112
ACT KA 112 is the polymerized mortar modified with fibers and special additives to gain advantage over traditional plaster mortar. It is factory prepared blend of carefully selected raw materials and proportion is as per the IS guidelines and standards. It is prepared with a formulation engineered to provide water retention, exceptional workability, better adhesion and superior bond strength over joints. It is designed to use with water to produce superior strength. It is easy to use with improved bond and maintains cleanliness at work place at the time of execution.
Uses
ACT KA 112 can be used efficiently for kerbing blocks joints etc. It can be conveniently used avoiding the inconvenience caused by bringing all raw materials and mixing it at different places, at different floors on large sites. ACT KA 112 can be used advantageously on big sites where a good quality work is desired.

INSTALLATION
-
All surfaces should be, clean and free of all dirt, oil, grease, concrete sealers etc. to avoid weak bonding. Rough or uneven concrete base should be made smooth and even to provide better finish.
-
Use 40kg of ACT KA 112 Kerb Adhesive with Approx. 25-30% or appropriate amount of potable water. Take water in the container and slowly add the powder into the water while mixing by hand or slow speed mixing machine. Mix for 3 to 5 minutes till a smooth thixotropic mix without lumps is obtained.
-
Before placing mortar, ensure surface is cleaned properly. Apply the mixed mortar on the block side in thin layers of 4 to 6 mm (or as required by engineers at site) using trowel and place the next layer of blocks on the mortar. Keep joints between the blocks as required by the site engineers and fill the joints with the mixed mortar, using a trowel. Check the plumb of the kerb while laying the blocks to keep the walls perfectly vertical to the plumb.
-
Clean tools and containers with water while mortar is fresh. Clean tools after more than 20 minutes break.
